Robin Olds during Vietnam War

We love our men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces. We have made contact with several members over the last several years that participate in Moustache March, non more than the Air Force. The Air Force holds a special regard for one Robin Olds, a fighter pilot during both WWII and Vietnam. Besides his fighter pilot skills he was known for his non-regulation moustache, which is honored every March by the men, and maybe some women of the Air Force.

This week I received the video below from Lt. Todd Afshar to encourage his fellow Airmen and the rest of the Air Force to get ready for Moustache March. Enjoy.

Comando Mustache – Don’t Shave in May

May 27 2011

I am way late and I apologize to our South American moustached brethren about not getting the word out about their international “Don’t Shave in May” campaign. These guys take their moustaches seriously in Brazil and are getting prepped stealthily for their June Moustache event. I have seen their stuff before and even though I don’t read or speak the language of the Brazilians, there is some good stuff on their site.

If you missed Moustache March and Moustache May, and just can’t wait for Movember get on board with Comando Mustache! I don’t think you want to mess with these guys based on their site logo, so get serious about it.
